I keep writing in this thing, it's turning out to be bad for my studies. Not that I was paying any sort of particular attention to them before. Hermione will probably be annoyed with that at some point but I'm rather over it right now.

Also, if anyone wants to attend a Defense Club meeting next weekend, Professor Dumbledore gave me permission to start one. I was thinking of meeting on the seventh floor by the portrait of Barnabas the Barmy? Let me know if you're interested.

	We have to give everyone else a chance to defend themselves. We can't just expect that they'll know what to do, because they won't. I KNOW that, it's not that I don't understand that. I just.... Don't you ever get tired of all of this? The pretense? The lying? It's just so exhausting. We can't really talk about anything anywhere for fear people will hear us, and it already seems like half the school has found out.

It's all just so exhausting.

And that's not even starting on classes. That's got to be driving Hermione crazy. I mean she knew all the answers the first time around.

	Of course I do, but then I remember that this isn't about us. It's about the current students, if we don't save them or show them how to save themselves, then we're never going to exist in the first place.
